Quilts
A bedspread dresses a bed. A quilt is the one you actually reach for, generously sized and filled to wrap up in, the layer you pull over yourself on a cool evening or under the air-conditioning. Warmth you keep on the bed and are still glad to look at.
Ours are quilted with a soft polyester fill for warmth without weight, in patterns made to sit with a calm room, paisley among them. They share the generous proportions of the bedspreads, but where a bedspread is cotton-filled to dress the bed, the quilt is made to be used: the difference between a bed that looks made and a bed you sink into. Exclusive to The Pillow Company, across India. Dry clean only.
What is the difference between a quilt and a bedspread?
Both are quilted and generously sized. A bedspread is cotton-filled and made to dress the bed; a quilt is filled for warmth and made to wrap up in. Many homes keep both.
What is the quilt filled with?
A soft polyester fill, for warmth without the weight, comfortable year round and light enough to use as an AC quilt.
What patterns and sizes do you make?
Quilted designs made to sit with a calm room, paisley among them, sized for Indian beds. See each product for its exact pattern, colour and dimensions.
How do I care for it?
Dry clean only. Keep it dry and away from direct sun to hold the colour and finish.
What if I need to exchange something?
If a piece isn’t right, we run an exchange policy rather than refunds. See our Exchange & Refund Policy.
