Luxury bedding is where The Pillow Company began, and it remains what we are known for in India. A bed is dressed from the top down, and the bedspread is the layer that decides how the whole room reads. Ours run across cotton, linen and velvet, quilted, woven and sateen-finished, and cut to fall the way a made bed should rather than to sit flat.
Build it in layers. The bedspread sets the surface; a pair of euro shams gives the head of the bed height and structure; and a low row of cushion covers finishes it, carrying the same hand on into the cushions of the room. For the warmer months a quilt does the same work in less weight. Fill each cover with an insert cut to its size, so the bed reads full rather than slack.

How do I dress a bed properly?
From the top down: a bedspread for the surface, euro shams at the head for height, then a low row of cushion covers in front. Keep to odd numbers and let the cloths talk to one another rather than match exactly. A bedspread, euro shams and cushion covers make a full set, and selected designs come as a single dressed bedding set.
What size are the bedspreads?
One generous 250 by 250 cm, cut to drape a king or queen to the floor. All sizes in centimetres.
