Luxe Chain Wraps

A chain carried on a bare shoulder digs in, and a chain resting against leather marks it at exactly the point where the strap meets the body. These sit between the two, padded on the inside and quilted velvet on the outside.

Three lengths, so you cover as much of the chain as the way you carry it needs. A fold-over flap keeps each one where you put it.

Questions about chain wraps

Which length do I need?

12 cm covers the shoulder contact point on a crossbody chain, where the padding is needed most and the least length is on show. 15 cm covers that contact point with a little either side, and is the length most chains want. 18 cm is for doubled chains and heavier bags, where more of the chain rests on the shoulder.

Will it fit my chain?

Each wrap is 4.5 cm across and 2 cm deep, which takes an ordinary bag chain and a doubled one. Measure the width of your chain where it sits on the shoulder against that and you will know.

Does it protect the bag or the shoulder?

Both, and that is the point. Padding on the inside stops the chain digging into the shoulder. The wrap itself sits between chain and leather, so the links never rest against the bag.

How does it stay in place?

A fold-over flap closes it around the chain rather than sliding on, so it stays where you put it and comes off when you want it off.

Are they sold as a pair?

No, each wrap is sold per piece. One is enough for a single shoulder carry. A doubled chain, or a bag you carry both ways, may want two.

How do I clean them?

Dry clean only. Steam gently on low heat to release creases.
