What is a plate cover or dinner set cover?

A plate cover is a padded layer that sits between stacked plates so they don’t scratch or chip in storage; a dinner set cover, or case, holds a whole service together. Both keep dust off and protect fine crockery between uses. Most plate covers and crockery covers are plain quilted nylon, ours are quilted velvet, so what protects your dinner set looks as considered as the set itself.

What do the crockery covers fit?

They hold dinnerware, dinner plates, side plates, bowls and serving pieces, plus trays and cutlery. Plate covers come sized to standard plate diameters; dinner set covers hold a full service. Check each product for the sizes it fits.

What are they made of?

Quilted velvet, padded to cushion what it holds. The quilting gives the structure that guards against knocks and stacking; the velvet is what makes it belong in a well-kept cupboard. All are dry clean only.

What size are the tissue box covers?

Our velvet tissue box covers measure 26 x 12 x 7 cm, sized for a standard rectangular tissue box, and come in grey, beige and more. They slip over the box so only the velvet shows.
